Cola Coma was created for an advanced typography class as a reinterpretation of Roland Barthes’ The World of Wrestling. Using only selected lines of text, I explored wrestling as spectacle and connected its exaggerated drama, performance, and power dynamics to the political climate of 2020. The final project developed into a book, a tabloid spread, and a promotional video.
